Also, most wear cloths that are seen to be "origional" or somethin.. not like anyone else wears tha sh|t or anything...

Emo is short for emotional.Not all "Emo people" are emotional but the stereotype lives on and people always seem to think that.Emo kids are often depressed and confide in self=harm to re-assure that they are living and not in a distant world from others.

1)Counter-pop culture teenagers that seem depressed. They reject the mainstream pop culture in order to resist conformity, but instead become conformists of the Emo Culture in the end. They listen to depressing music with sometimes good lyrics, but that are often performed by people that have no talent in singing and playing instruments. The only way to be truly free of conformity is to live in a cave and reject anything from society. Not many are willing.
2)The Typical Emo Kid is extremely skinny lacking in muscle tone of any kind. They are very pale and often look really unhealthy, because they haven't eaten or seen the sun in a long time. They reject caring about health and focus on depressing music. Emo kids come complete with black medium long hair and women's jeans(Especially Guys). They usually style their hair by parting there too long bangs over half their face. Emo Kids often shop at thrift shops and sometimes Hot Topic. Chattanooga, TN is the Emo Capital of the World.
Emo is also considered by some as Goth's retarded gay niece.

People who think the film "Donnie Darko" is philosophical genius. Many also believe Blink 182 to be the best band ever 'cause their "lyrics" mean something... They are posers, wanabees and do not understand what a good lyric is. They mirror everyone around them and have no sense of who they truly are.

A African American, or American, who like the emo culture. I am one myself. They are very rare, and are always accused of being an "oreo" by other ghetto black kids. Usually hangs out with other "emo" kids, most likely, but not always white. Doesn't care for rap, or hip hop. Feels secure when with other people who understand the problems of the world, and are true about it. Doesn't understand why race is such a big deal in the world.
A black emo kid, or african american, or american who comes from african descent, and is comfortable with the emo culture.
