Accidental Homosexuality

When straight guy is looking at porn, he looks for a good picture to masturbate to. Once he finds a good picture(of a girl), he starts doing his business in front of the computer. But if just as hes about to release his stream of protein, possibly into a tissue or (in rarer cases) the wall, A popup with a guy spread his asshole thirteen inches appears just as his unfortunate sperm exits his body. There is usually shock, pain, and humiliation as the man has just became.... another victim of accidental homosexuality.

Acetylsalicylic Acid

The scientific term for Aspirin. In many countries, notably Canada and Germany, "Aspirin" is a patented trademark of the local Bayer subsidiaries. Any non-Bayer products are labelled with the abbreviation ASA (Canadian English), AAS (Canadian French), and ASS (German). I am not making the last one up!

The term Acetylsalicylic Acid, in its entirety, is rarely used in layman's conversations.

Just as many people refer to any tissue as "Kleenex," Canadians often refer to non-Bayer ASA as "generic Aspirin" or, simply, "Aspirin."

"Work accident" is the term used by Palestinian terrorists to refer to an accidental explosion when handling bombs or other explosive materials. Similar to the British Army use of "own goal" to refer to IRA men blowing themselves up.

Acid

In computer science, ACID (Atomicity, Consistency, Isolation, Durability) is a set of properties of database transactions. In the context of databases, a sequence of database operations that satisfies the ACID properties and, thus, can be perceived as single logical operation on the data is called a transaction.

It's also slang for LSD, apparently.

That database is not ACID, but this may not be a bad thing, if you understand the trade-offs.
