Tank Boss

Non-elected, unofficial leader of a community housing tank in jail. Duties include control of TV, dispute arbitration, breaking up or organizing of fights and anything else related to the tank. Payment is often in the form of commissary.

I don't know why Big Boy tried to change the channel from Springer to watch the news without asking. Doesn't he know he ain't Tank Boss? That's gonna cost him 2 soups...

Boss Tweed, a prominent figure of political corruption, was well-known for his scandalous eating habits. At meals, Tweed would measure out exactly three inches from his stomach to the edge of the table. As soon as his stomach touched the table, he knew it was time to stop eating.
