nerd brag

When a nerd acts like something is common knowledge, but in actuality is not known to the majority of people.

It is a desperate desire to make clear that the nerd was fully aware of something, that you were not, and that he or she believes that everyone else was also aware of it.

Common examples of nerd brags include:

"What, you didn't know that?"

"Really? Oh weird, I know how to do that."

"Any time I can't figure something out on my computer, Steve has to nerd brag while he shows me how to do it."

"Ummm, you know that this security flaw has been know for almost a month now, right?"
"NERDBRAG!"

Someone who cannot stop themselves from bragging about the name brand items they own. Usually bought for them, and generally purchased by people that have no responsibilities, or live at home with their parents or grandparents.

Federico had a nasty habit of name bragging on his social media pages, even though the name brands he buys were insignificant since he still lived with his abuela.

When someone is talking about how difficult a situation/ task was, but because it was them they managed to do it well.

For had it not been them it wouldn't have been able to be done.

Martyr Bragging dick: "The workload Mr Boss gave me was completely unreasonable. There was far too much for someone to do in that time. I mean, if he hadn't given it to me and like Margaret instead, it never would have been completed on time"
