Minnesota Vikings

A team in the National Football League (NFL) whose idea of a successful season is not choking during the last 5 weeks and missing the playoffs. Unlike other teams, they know they will never win a Super Bowl and once they make the playoffs, that's pretty much it.

Here it is, the season's on the line. Two receivers left and right. McCown, takes the snap, he steps up, he's all by himself...FIRES INTO THE ENDZONE. CAAAUGHT!! TOUCHDOWN!!! NOOOO!!! NOOOO!!! THE CARDINALS HAVE KNOCKED THE MINNESOTA VIKINGS OUT OF THE PLAYOFFS!!!!

Viking Stench

The smell of fearsome vikings returning from a victorious raids. Usually the smell of b.o., blood, rancid meat, semen, and gold. not really a good thing in modern society but defiantly very manly.

Viking Boating

A form of transportation used by the Vikings in which many slaves sat and rowed in unison to propel a boat or arch. In modern times, it is commonly referred to as Rowing or Crew, however, these are indeed wrong titles for the art.

Guy: Hey! Did you see those people over there Viking Boating on the lake the lake the other day?

Girl: Yeah, I saw them. I stupidly thought it was crew or rowing, thanks for clearing that up for me.

Guy: No problem.

Viking Courage

Used to describe the process of drinking an alcoholic beverage to gain a sense of confidence before attending a social gathering which is though to be nerve wracking and pretentious.

Formally derived from the saying 'dutch courage' after it became profoundity blatant, that the dutch where only known for there clogs whereas the vikings had horns and are therefore a more appropriate species to base the phrase upon.
