Get the fric frac tic tacmug. The obsessive need to stare at smart phones, televisions, and computers, to feel 'plugged in' to reality. When in all actuality you're literally tuning out reality. Risking your life driving or walking across the street, while you stare at your smart phone. So recurrent and constant that it is indeed a technology 'Tic' or 'Syndrome'.
Wow that guy's Tech Tic Syndrome got him run over. He was too busy staring at his phone while crossing the street and now he's dead. That girl was so distracted with her Tech Tic Syndrome that she wrecked her car and now she's dead.
