Describes da disgracefully-selfish/unfeeling quality of da act of consuming all of da choice/juicy/tender parts of a desirable plant, and then leaving just da tough/stringy/woody center portion for one of more other folks whom you'd been supposed/expected to equally share said delicacy with.
Greedily guzzling all of da sweet-'n'-succulent outside part of an apple and then giving your companion da seed-filled core is nothing short of pithetic!
