Brain Rot Syndrome

A behavioral phenomenon where an individual frequently uses specific words or phrases that are generally considered bothersome or cringe-inducing. This repetitive use becomes habitual, making it difficult for the person to avoid incorporating these terms into their everyday language.

Leo got hooked on the song “Skibidi” and started saying it all the time. He also used “rizz” to describe people’s charm, even when it didn’t fit the situation. This habit of using “skibidi” and “rizz” too much is what you’d call Brain Rot Syndrome—it’s when someone can’t stop using certain slang words that others find annoying.

Car Brain

An American living the suburbs who is incapable of thinking about getting from place to place without taking his or her car. Complains about safety on transit all the time, and opposes all "socialist" transit projects, even though it would benefit them without the carbrain needing to take action. May alsoo be a NIMBY, but not necessarily, and should not be used interchangeably.

Person 1: The subway is filled with druggies and homeless people. In my car, I'm in my own safe bubble.
Person 2: You are SUCH a fucking car brain!

Runner's Brain

A temporary reduction in mental capacity due to having recently run several miles.

After my run yesterday, I spent half an hour wandering around the grocery store trying to decide what to eat for dinner, only to remember that I had just gone to the grocery store that morning. So then I went to In-n-Out. I think I'm coming down with a case of Runner's Brain.
