Someone who obsessively creates hope for themselves, even when there’s no logical reason. A person who clings to unrealistic outcomes or convinces themselves things will work out despite all evidence to the contrary. Basically, obsessive about hope.

• She’s so hopesessive about getting back with her ex, even though he’s already married.
• Don’t be hopesessive, man. The team isn’t making playoffs this year.
• His hopesessive attitude makes him believe every scratch-off ticket is the winning one.

To plant false hope in someone by giving empty promises or unrealistic expectations. Similar to “stringing someone along,” but with an emphasis on feeding them hope that won’t grow into anything real.

• Stop hopeseeding me with promises you’ll never keep.
• The politician kept hopeseeding the crowd with talk of “change.”
• I got totally hopeseeded by that company... months of promises, nothing delivered.

One who engages in hobosexual activities that allow them a place to stay and/or messes with someone's feelings because they only need to have that PLACE anything else is inconvenient
