a sport that involves hard work and never gets enough credit. people think that it is not a sport but fits the defination from websters dictionary of a sport perfectly. in any other sport if you drop somethingits no big deal. but wat happens in cheerleading??? the person dropped could be extremely hurt. so ppl on here who trash cheerleaders, get a life!!!!!!!!!!!! only some cheerleders fit those freakin sterotypes. i hope u r now informed.

Get the cheerleadingmug. a strenuous sport that consists of tumbling, sharp motions, dance, stunting, actual cheers, and spirit. most people don't consider cheerleading a sport, but I think that competitive cheerleading IS a sport. If its only sideline cheering, like for games, then it shouldnt be considered a sport. people who snub cheerleaders and say we're just whores that dance around and yell "GO ____________!!" are WRONG. its not fair how everybody stereotypes cheerleaders just because of movies or shows. competitive cheerleading IS a sport.

Get the cheerleadingmug. A SPORT. Consists of cheering, dancing, jumping, tumbling (gymnastics), and stunting. Not just where you yell "go team go". Where you go flipping through the air, throwing people 30 feet in the air. Compete in 2 and a half minute routines. Make football players look like pussys because we go flying 30 feet in the air,and if we fall, we don't have all those pads to protect us.

Get the cheerleadermug. Can be bitches, but if you know them are great girls who can do well in school and are not sluts. They can have a good time without being out of control. They dont always date jocks because some jocks are jerks. Cheerleaders are cute girls that are so nice, if you dont like them your most likely jealous or an outcast and are not friends with them.

Get the cheerleadermug. only the BEST sport( yes sport ) ever!!!!!!! it requires u 2 b flexible, strong, confident, fearless, ect. 4 all of u ppl who say cheerleading isnt a sport try it sometime, go & watch a comp, or ur skool squad!!! cheerleaders have 2 b able 2 do tumble (randoph back handsprings back tuck), even thou half the girls on my squad cant, jump (toe-touch hurdler,pike,ect)yell & have skool spirit. competivive squads are harder than skool squads, but both r the basic idea. i am a cheerleader of only 3 yrs but i have done it all!! ( almost )we usually spend 4rm $250 to $700 on uniforms!! CHEERLEADERS ROCK!!!!!
