Get the Noisy Quietmug. When you're being quiet fired but you respond by quiet quitting instead of quitting outright, playing a prolonged game of chicken to see which of you or your employer will be the first to flinch.
My employer gave me a 0% pay increase this year while saddling me with new impossible responsibilities in hope of coercing attrition, but I just hunkered down and performed consistently below my competency level, working to rule for my inflation-adjusted salary. This is now a quiet showdown. You can't quiet fire me. I quiet quit!
