A commonly used word either used to represent a ripping sound, or an abbreviation meaning 'Rest In Peace'. It is also used in the context of lol, as it has more variation and can be used in social situations without offense.

Rip are amazing guys there quick witted, strong most importantly there very caring. Seen somtimes in a older brother/dad figure. They do there best to look after people. Rip's are amazing boyfriends they are so compassionate they will go above the call duty to get a smile on your face.
