A person who has just heard bad news and then rushes to the nearest wall and places thier back to it and slides down as they weep and scream.

I was watching maury povich show and after he told Shawanda that the 8th man tested was NOT the father, she ran backstage and turned into a wall slider.

To pull into oncoming traffic little by little. One demonstrates a high level of nerve when this is done on busy roads.

I got so frustrated that nobody would stop to let me go that I started doing the Rhode Island Slide until they had no choice but to either stop or hit me.

Fuck this for a game of soldiers!

Historically soldiers were notorious for becoming engaged in silly and most times (e.g. the game of the "bisquit") non-sense games to kill the time, practice that over time gave them a poorly credible connotation and stereotype. Hence this old fashioned colloquialism (the original version was Sod this for a game of soldiers) compares the foolishness of a certain action/thing with that of "a game of soldiers"

Man 1: Hey Jim lets swallow as much bleach as possible, just to feel what it feels like.

Man 2:You must have gone bonkers, fuck this for a game of soldiers!

hood slide

An alternative to walking/running around a vehicle, in which a running jump is taken onto the hood of a vehicle (preferably yours), landing body first, and letting yourself slide across the hood to the other side of the vehicle, where you land on your feet.
Easier with a good wax job. Not recomended on full-size vans or Hyundais.

pasadena mud slide
