Real programmer are:

- programmers that code machine code/assembly

- programmers that can real code of programming language that he did not know

- programmers that can learn new programming languages in 10 minutes

- programmers that use C/C++ and other low-level programming languages.

- programmers that do not use an IDE such as Visual Studio, instead, they use cat, vi, nano or other command line text editors

You are not a real programmer? You are still writing Visual Basic.

progervative

A progressive conservative in approach to problem solving. A person who is progressive by recombining ideas that worked in the past into new ideas. Progressives generally want to try things that didn't work in the past, because, well, it wasn't them trying it, and they are way cooler than the last people. (Or they don't know it failed last time.) Conservatives generally like trying things that worked before but aren't smart or cool enough to make cool or clueless people understand or like the old idea.

Obama is slippin! He talked all progressive, but he's like some dang progervative.

Progrep

An abbreviation for "Progress Report."
For those who do not know what a progress report is, it's a notice sent home mid-marking period of a school quarter or semester. The progress report (progrep), notices the parents of their child's ill-doings in school and bad grades.
