Term used to describe cupcakes with a cherry (or other round topping) which in fact look like nipples. Founded by KC and Elka of the PlanetCast Podcast. It is sometimes shouted at concerts (i.e. Tegan and Sara) to search for fellow kelkians.

(n.) oversized and/or protruding areolae. Also known as a puffy nipple. May make the nipple appear to be pointy (a condition known as "banana boob") or where the areola is not protruding may resemble a slice of pepperoni.Attraction to nipples of this nature is considered to be a fetish by some. Atomic nipples are rumored to be quite sensitive.

Nichole has huge atomic nipples, which I consider to be her soul redeeming quality. I really dug sucking on them.

when one goes into the sea the nipple area becomes red and scabby with possible bleeding

i was wave boarding when all of a sudden my nipples started to itch. i jumped off of the wave board and into the ocean. man my nipples stung more than a bee! i got out of the water as quickly as possible and my mom put lotion on my nipples. it was too late. my nipples already started to peel off and bleed. SOUR NIPPLE SUCKS!
