When the most inconvenient outcome to a situation is the most likely to occur.

Wife: "Honey, why are you going to work so early?"

Husband: "Occam's Inconvenience dictates there will most likely be a lot of traffic on the freeway, and construction on all the side streets. Or some combination of the two, especially if I'm running late."

Wife: "Like how it seems everything outside of your control stacks against you when you're least prepared to handle it."
