code word for "schools without poor visible minorities" mostly found in lily-white suburban and exurban areas.

Used mostly as a code word along middle and upper-middle class white people who believe culturally insulating their children will lead to them growing up to be successful consumabots.

Steve and Chloe moved out of the city and bought a 5,000 sq. ft McMansion in East West Bumfucksville to send their daughters Madison and Taylor to the good schools found there.

The Bishop's School

An interesting alternate universe filled with future investment bankers, swiss watches, german automobiles, lots and lots of weed, and the La Jolla Beach and Tennis Club. Fun. Basically, a mixture of the best qualities of Monaco and Amsterdam.

school nurse

Offer ice for every last thing. Unkept office with students lined up out the door trying to get home. There are probably no more than two school nurses per school. Thinks that you parents or guardians need to know every last bit of information, and asks them if they can come pick you up. These nurses probably don't even have a medical dagree. Most of these school nurses are fat. Eventhough you feel horible, they probably won't beleive you, so they send you back to class after 3 mins. Nurses have memory erasers, because they ask for you name evey time you go to see them. Their office always smells like they are cooking something. Probably every office has an empty garbage bin for needles. Probably every office has a microwave.

(Bob) Mrs, I feel like I will be throwing up badly
*Throws up intestines*
(School Nurse) Do you want me to call your mom?

(Steve) Mrs I think I am pa-
*Drops to floor*

school of rock

Brilliant movie featuring Jack Black of Tenacious D, who, as Dewey Finn, gets thrown out of his own band. Searching for an answer to help him pay his rent, he impersonates Mr. S, his flatmate, and becomes a Temp. teacher.
Whilst teaching the hilariously characterised children, he learns that winning isn't everything. A must see for any rock music fan, or for anybody wanting a few laughs.
Also has an amazing soundtrack.

montessori school

A place where kids learn a whole lot and actually learn to LOVE school. Many people back away from montessori schools because they're not "structured" enough, but the truth is that these kids learn better in this kind of environment than the kids in catholic school who are told to fold their hands at their desks and be quiet. Not saying all catholic schools are like that, nor am I saying that it's bad, but montessori schools kinda accomplish more with their unique style of learning. They're really expensive, but it's well worth the price.

A: "Ewww I hate school its horrible ew ew ew."

B: "Really? I love school. The people there are nice and the academics are interesting."

A: "You must go to a montessori school, then."

B: "you got it."

Public School

A place where kids are taught to hate anyone who doesn't conform Christians, homeschoolers, nerds, where nothing is expected of them, and where kids learn about stds, sex, and little else.

1. I'm from a public school. I've been trained what to believe what I'm told about everything, from evolution to politics. "Thinking for yourself"? What's that?
