Get the Zoom Babymug. The term for a baby born using fertility treatments such as I.V.F. (In Vitro Fertilization) is a pineapple baby. Pineapple is the symbol of infertility. Not everyone going through IVF has had a loss other than the loss of confidence because their body isn’t working like it should. There are rainbow babies that are born after a loss. Such as, neonatal death, stillbirth and miscarriage. There is also a Sunshine baby, which is a child born before a loss. Then a Golden baby or pot of gold born, a baby born after the rainbow baby. If you are expecting twins and lose one of the twins the remaining baby is called a Miracle baby or Sunrise baby and the twin that was lost is called a Guardian Angel or Sunset baby. Loosing both twins is called Shooting Stars. Loosing a child due to miscarriage, or SIDS and still birth is called an Angel baby.
