The red thread- a verb(theory) used to describe the phenomenon that every freshman in Brooklyn, as of now, is in some way connected to each other or knows each other through friends or connections.

Nerdy Nancy: this girl Tracey Sigil I met through Kenzie is a loser, like actually. So annoying, no one likes her.
Turned up Tabitha: You know TRACEY GIRL? I go to school with her.

If you aren't sure if you're going to run out of bobbin thread before finishing your current seam, but you keep stitching without re threading your bobbin, you are playing thread chicken.

I totally lost a game of thread chicken, and now I have to re-sew the entire fucking seam.

when someone quotes dumb post/s on the imageboard and sums up ironically the value of the message behind them

When posting for example on lgbt board things like;
The female body is beautiful and aesthetic. You'd have to be fucked in the head to not like it.

and the other user quotes your post and writes;
