Person 1: I'm really sorry, my mom just died and it's hitting me a lot harder than I expected... She and I kind of had a falling out when she remarried and allowed her new spouse to mistreat me and my sibling for so long, but now all I can think of is the fact that now we'll never have a chance to fix things.
