The Loomis Ratio is simple: for every 1 guy there are 4 girls. Underclassmen are preferred. The Loomis Ratio needs a couple of requirements to take place. The Loomis Ratio should be accompanied with sums of alcohol, dance music, and a bonus is if the host's parents are away for the duration. If all goes to plan the full effect of The Loomis Ratio will be felt. It will be a night that the partiers will never forget only if they are able remember.

One cold night in the deep winter of the Northern Midwest, the host implemented The Loomis Ratio which resulted in the temperature risin', dance floor bumpin', and the host drunkin'and sex...thus being a night which profited from The Loomis Ratio.

Uninformed. Ignorant of the situation. Not receiving appropriate information. Think of "the loop" as being a communications channel, and therefore being out of the loop means no one is communicating with you to get you the information you need.

Manager: Why did you miss today's staff meeting?

Employee: I didn't know there was one scheduled. I was completely out of the loop.
