Get the in the Hamptonsmug. The Hamptons is made up of SOUTHAMPTON, SAG HARBOR, BRIDGEHAMPTON, WATERMILL, EASTHAMPTON, SPRINGS AND SAGAPONACK. That is ALL.
Year round it's mostly made up of middle class families just trying to get by. In the summer, cidiots (city idiots) or tourons (tourist morons) come out and cause extreme traffic and be generally stupid. In the winter, the Hamptons are pretty quiet (although Bridgehampton and Easthampton get very ghetto).

Get the The Hamptonsmug. A place on Eastern Long Island where alot of rich people live. The Hamptons inculde: East Hampton, Bridgehampton, Southampton, Water Mill, Amagansett, Sagaponack. Usually every celebrity has a house in the Hamptons and visits there in the summer time. The coolest place on the earth!!!

North Sea, Sagaponack, Westhampton, Hampton Bays, and Bridgehampton, as well as Southampton village, are in the Town of Southampton
Sag Harbor, Northwest Harbor, Napeague, Montauk, Springs, Wainscott, and Amagansett, as well as East Hampton village, are in the Town of Easthampton.
The Hamptons are easily accessed by Montauk Highway (NY 27) as well as the Montauk Branch of the Long Island Railroad, making service between Jamaica, Queens and the villages of Westhampton, Hampton Bays, Southampton, Bridgehampton, Easthampton, Amagansett, and Montauk.
Known for its amazing Atlantic beaches, laden with mansions owned by celebrities.

An overrated, middle-class community on the eastern tip of Long Island, full of shuttered xenophobes who dislike anyone who's not "local" and have a particular disdain for City residents who vacation there in the summer. They think that dealing with "cidiots" each summer is bad? Try dealing with troublemaking Long Island trash every WEEKEND. At least New Jersey and Westchester kids are reasonably well-behaved.
