A phrase used to express something that nowadays, wouldn't be considered acceptable, or would be frowned upon.

Sometimes used to express an event that was/wasn't supposed to happen and resulted in the opposite.
Ex:

(Will Smith and Jada Pinkett are currently struggling in their marriage)

One could say:
"Well. That didn't age well!"
