Swampies (deprived from swampy) is plural for several beers of the cheaper variety and quality. The term is referring to how cheap quality beers can have an often not so pleasant taste reflecting dirty swamp water.

My friend and I drank swampies all night last night. Woke up with a hangover today… damn swampies!
