runaway ego syndrome

This syndrome could happen at any time but can be intensified by the consumption of alcohol. This is what happens when one cannot stop bragging on themself and all of their best qualities. When alcohol is involved, they may make the same statements repeatedly and loudly as a means of inforcing the validity of the statement and/or tell stories that magnify their greatness.

Hey boss, I am really glad to see you out tonight. I wanted to talk to you about the recent promotion I put in for. I know you gave the position to Mike but I think there are a few things you overlooked....

Runaway Asswipe

When you install a new roll of toilet paper and as soon as you leave the room, it unrolls on it's own into a pile on the floor. This leaves you having to keep the roll in a bundle or try a re-roll.

The goddam cat must have started a "runaway asswipe" then strewed it all over the bathroom.

Runaway Bay

Small town in Texas about 30 minutes from Bridgeport and 2 hours from anywhere else. It contributes a church, two gas stations, a lake, and a helluva lot of real estate on the town's golf course. A bunch of older people live there and there's not much to do except get high and golf.

thermal runaway

What Garfield caused by claw-hooking a loose thread from Jon's knitted underwear as he loped past him on his way outdoors for a morning run, causing said "vulnerable to fraying" garment to rapidly and "vanishingly" unravel, and therefore leaving da unsuspecting Jon open to arrest for indecent exposure.

Garfield thought dat his creating a "thermal runaway" with Jon's jogging-garb was off-da-scale funny, but somehow da alarmed and enormously-humiliated Jon did not find said shocking event to be overly hilarious himself! :P
