A password is like a code you type in to your computer, iPad or phone. It acts like a shield and protects any of your personal information on your electronics and presents anyone from logging into your computer and messing things up like changing your password or getting rid of receipts, precious memories or special emails.
A secret combination of characters, including letters, numbers, and/or symbols, used to authenticate a user's identity and grant access to a system, account, or resource. Passwords are typically private and should be kept secure to prevent unauthorized access.
To access her email account, Sarah entered her password, which consisted of a mix of uppercase letters, numbers, and special characters.
Hym "There is no password, you idiot! Why would I have a password when a password would make me interchangeable with anybody else who has the password? I'm channeling a sentence. Right? My psychic powers are kicking in. Ok. Something along the lines of 'We can't allow..." but in reality what you can't do is prevent or what you couldn't do is prevent and now you want something I have no way of giving you and rather than doing what I'm telling you you are trying to appeal to humanity I don't have to get me to do something I can't do. All so that you save your own hides."
The progressive increase in both the number of different passwords you need to have at work, and the number of times you have to change them. Each password usually has unique requirements, which along with the frequent changes, makes it virtually impossible to remember your passwords. Resulting in a word document on your desktop call "PASSWORDS.docx" that reduces the security of ALL passwords to zero.
"I just changed my login password for the 15th time this year. But due to this password creep I've forgotten what it actually is. It used to be the same as my copier password but that's only been changed 8 times. Anyways, I forget what that one is too, so I have to go to my password document on my desktop to find them."
