Originating from online forums in the early 2000s, necroposting is now widespread among old YouTube videos. Typically involves some retarded Zoomer responding to a comment from 2008, and phrasing it in a way that comes off as if they expect the (almost always) long-dead account to reply to them.

Nekoposter often snatch things from anime and start to emulate it, an example of this being refering to other people with "chan" and "kun"; Nekoposters also tend to use 3 continous dots to exclaim their discomfort with a situation that they are too dumb to articulate with words, i.e. "...".
Often nekoposter find themselfes in a situation where their usual nicknames have allready been taken away by other nekoposters in which cases they add 'x'es to their names
i.e.: cuteNeko -> xXxCuTeNeKox3xXx
Nekoposter tend to have a low IQ and a short attention span and can thrive in any environment as long as they can find another nekoposter to communicate with; after this point the couple will attract increasingly more nekoposters until the whole chatroom is subverted after which some of them seek out to find new prey elsewhere
