The successor to the fastest known car ever designed, the McLaren F1. The McLaren F1, also known as the "million dollar car," because of its $1,000,000 USD price tag, was made for the German autobahn and boasted incredible max speeds of 250 miles per hour, which are just now being reached by other automotive manufacturers. The car had an engine compartment made of solid gold, which actually enhanced performance. The McLaren F2 makes the F1 look like child's play with an unbelievable max speed of 330 miles per hour and a price tag 270 times larger than the F1. Not at all street legal anywhere except the autobahn, this car is designed mainly for show and tell. The $270,000,000 USD price tag is well justified by speed and rarity (only 8 are currently known to be in existence, most of which still belong to the manufacturers.)

It would literally take a fighter jet in order to keep up with the McLaren F2.

Lewis Hamilton McLaren First championship tittle

At age 22 in the 2007 Australian Gran Prix in Albert Park driving for McLaren-Mercedes Lewis started his F1 carreer. In his debut season he scored many podiums and wins,most notably the Japanese Gran Prix where he came out the best in treacherous conditions.He almost won that years title but due to gearbox issues at the start of the race he lost out to Kimi Raikonnen by just 1 point. The next year,2008 was a completely different story. Lewis was there to win but one slight problem was that the Ferraris were faster,but he succeded becoming the youngest F1 world champion by one point to Massa. This time he won 5 times ironically to Massa's 6 but his consistency proved vital at the last round in Interlagos,Brazil. Massa winning that race by 13 seconds to second place Fernando Alonso. Hamilton that time had been overtaken by Sebastian Vettel and would lose the championship in the tiebreaker had it not been for Timo Glock gambling staying on the dry tires with the rain intensifying with the infamous phrase by Martin Brundle "is that glock? is that glock going slowly?" Timo Glock after the race was asked if McLaren had paid him but that was not the case. Glock had lost grip on his dry tires on the wet weather and the two drivers (sebastian vettel and lewis hamilton) had caught up with him on the last corner and with Glock missing tire grip Hamilton stormed to the line to claim his first world championship tittle.

James Mclaren

Known by many as 'The Lucky Irishman' or quite simply 'Macca'. A man usually found in Adelaide close by his car - the Big Red machine. He is fun(ny) guy when sober and enjoys activities such as brown hurricane and the like when 'chemically inconvienienced' (drunk).

There are many look-a-likes and sound-a-likes of Macca, but the true James Mclaren can be recognised by his distinguishable red hair (:P) and unique laugh
