To make a nice looking game and cancel it for no reason. Like with Silent Hills and a remake of the original 1980s Metal Gear with David Hayter reprising his role as Snake.
Guy 1: Dude have you seen the trailer for Bloodborne 2? It looks awesome!
Guy 2: I was so hyped up for it but I heard the game got cancelled.
Guy 1: Goddamnit I bet Konami was involved in this bullshit!

In the 80s, Konami of America and Japan released many games for the Nintendo Entertainment System. Traditionally, programmers would program in hidden 'cheat codes' to help make gameplay easier, which aided especially during late testing periods before commercial launch.
Konami released many popular games on the NES during this era, such as Gradius, Life Force, and Contra. These titles, as well as many subsequent ones, used the same cheat code listed above. Because of it's reoccurence, it became known as 'The Konami Code', and knowing it by heart is one of the trademark signs of a true, old-school gamer.
A common alteration on this code is:
Up-Up-Down-Down-Left-Right-Left-Right, B, A, SELECT, Start.
Many people mentally add in a 'select' in there for one reason only--on the menu screen, pressing select changed the cursor to '2 players' instead of '1 player'. Contra was always more fun to play with a friend.

Get the KanKan mug.Konata Izumi is one of the primary characters of the Anime/Manga series by the name of Lucky Star. She is famous for her obsession with all things anime, a long-time interest in adult dating simulator computer games, and a tendency to never follow the norms of everyday women. Her key physical features are long blue hair, a beauty mark under her right eye, and a child-like build.
Konata works part-time at a Cosplay Cafe, a commitment that is surprising to the other girls of the show. She has portrayed different characters, with the most prominent being Haruhi Suzumiya The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya. She spends her paychecks primarily on anime/manga merchandise, and is known to buy three of the same item- one for personal use, one for collecting, and the other as a backup.
Konata's sexuality is questionable. Although a firm preference has never been mentioned in the series, she has displayed interest in things such as Miyuki Takara's breasts and her friend, Kagami Hiiragi. Such has lead to a widespread fanshipping known as KonaxKaga (or Konakaga, Kagakona, etc.), of which relevant fanart and fanfiction portrays the two characters engaging in romantic activity of different levels.
