junioritis

A condition that mainly affects high school juniors who have many senior friends, or have prematurely and possibly overprepared for life after highschool.
Sufferers fall into a subconcious notion that they, in fact, are in their final year of high school, and will soon be free from the trappings of compulsory education.

Condition can be either cured when current seniors graduate, or worsened as the junior realizes that they still have a year left and the true seniors are gone.

Junioritis is almost always a precursor to the highest degree of senioritis.

K's junioritis is so bad, they keep talking about college plans and "getting out of here"-do they realize they have a year to go?

Junioritis

Junioritis is a pre-mature case of senioritis. It makes the infected junior tired and burned out and all the junior wants is graduation. However, the junior will push through and will have a severe and potentially lethal case of senioritis.

Junior girl: I am sick of tests, studying, and taking ACT practice tests!
Naive freshmen baby girl: It is not that hard...
Senior boy: *Glares through tears*
Sophomore girl: Shut UP freshmen! That is why nobody likes you."
Junior girl: *Has mental breakdown*
Senior boy: Its okay babe... we all go through junioritis. *hugs* I went through it last year remember?

jungitis

The progressive inflammation of one's ego through materialism and vanity caused by lack of acceptance and an ugly FACE. Symptoms: Long periods of self admiration in front of reflective surfaces, urges to clothe oneself in undersized garments, a distorted view of one's own attractiveness and/or the use of money and material items to attract members of the opposite sex.

an ebbing of motivation and effort by high school students (especially ones taking AP classes) during the time period after AP tests in May. (see senioritis)

After I finished taking my 5 AP tests, teachers stopped giving homework, so junioritis kicked in.
