The term "GAIDs" was used by newspapers during the early stages of the AIDS outbreak. At the time, it was thought that only homosexuals (or 'gays') could get AIDS. GAIDS stood for "Gay acquired immune deficiency Syndrome".

1. One who constantly promotes LGBTQ values in unrelated or inappropriate situations.

2. One who tries to purposefully inject LGBTQ values into unrelated cultures or countries.

3. One who aligns with and promotes LGBT values only to be part of a trend.
