Cypher

Anything cyclical. If your freestyling, you rap in a cypher (one after the other). Interrupting another man will break that cypher (unless he's next in line and the dude behind him is falling off). The same concept applies to burning; there is a set order to who hits next (pass it to the left my friends). Never break the damn cipher

cyphon

A mash-up of "cyber" and "siphon", describing the movement of attention from meatspace to cyberspace. As a noun, it could be any site (social or not) that draws attention away from meatspace. You don't necessarily need to be in front of a screen to be affected by a cyphon. Your continued use of a social site could change the fundamental way you act and interact within meatspace, e.g. having lunch with your friend and trying not to let the gorgeous plate of fries cypyhon your attention to what filter you'd want to use when you post a picture of it to Instagram.

Specifically, the word cyphon is about how meatspace is augmented, detracted from or otherwise enhanced and diminished by the various online worlds that reflect and inform our daily lives.

This party was great until Jack cyphoned everyone to Facebook with his posting of Jill hurling in the back yard.

Cypress Hill

A West Coast band that was formed in 1991 outside of L.A. with the likes of B-Real (who also did a solo album), Sen Dog and DJ Muggs. They are a band that composes songs that are a variety of genres; mostly rock, rap and reggae. The majority of their songs try to promote weed, basically demanding it should be legalized. All in all, one of the greatest bands to ever form.

Culture Cypher

5 Percenter (Nation of Gods and Earths) lingo for 40. As used in the infamous Wu-Tang 7th Chamber skit on Enter The 36 Chambers album by Ghostface. The number 4 is equal to culture and the number 0 is equal to cypher (as in a circle which is a full 360 degrees cypher). Disregard the other definitions of Culture Cypher on here as they are completely inaccurate.

"I'm comin to get my culture cypher god"

Not 40 oz. bottle of beer, he means his glock 40 as he first said his boy just got shot in the head.
