chatspeak 

A way of typing words online to:

1) Quickly get your message across
2) Annoy someone out of their heads

It often abbreviates words with single letters and replaces an s at the end of a word with a z. It also uses numbers as letters.

Ex:

1=L
3=E
4=A
5=S
7=T
0=O

(Chatspeak user): Lyk lolz0rz I pwn u!!!11!!!1!!1!1
(Normal person): Oh wow. You actually spelt 1 word right in that sentence! *applause*
(Chatspeak user): Lyk d0n7 b3 gell0us 0f mi m4d 5ki115 no0bz0rz
(Normal Person): Oh my god, just be stupid alone
(Chatspeak User): C u l8r nubz0rz

Chatspeak 

The shortening of words and adding of numbers, usually used on an instant messenger service, that makes you look incredibly stupid. Usually makes no sense, and is hard to decipher. Rarely paired with correct spelling and punctuation. Also known as idiotspeak.

Something stupid that's VERY hard to read. And it's really annoying. I mean it's faster to type, "Are you going to the park?" rather than "r u gng 2 da prk 2dy?"
Most chatspeak can be put into categoreis. Let's use "Want to go to the movies with me?"

Characteristics: uses 'i' alot and stretches it out. example: todaii, mii, okii. sometimes says "u wus" instead of "you were".

I honestly don't see how tying like that is faster.
z's and numbers: wnt 2 go 2 daz moviz 2nitz?
says "z" alot and uses numbers to replace words.
