buffoolery

A portmanteau of buffoonery and foolishness, buffoolery is a go-to term to describe the amount and/or nature of BS, chaos, ridiculousness, and idiocy you just witnessed, because they are so far beyond anything you could have anticipated or even conceptualized. When the moment calls for a response and you wish to keep your cool and sanity amidst all the craziness, it’s the only word you need. Or, it’s just a great word to comment on general shenanigans!

Dude! You leaving? This party is off the chain! Did you see the kangaroo kick the TV into the pool?
Yeah, I saw it. Too much buffoolery for me. I’m out.

The neighborhood watch reported a group of kids who egged everyone’s mailboxes.
What?! That’s some buffoolery right there. Those kids need sports, or something else positive to do.

Ludicrous decisions, behavior, actions, or utterance that results in a person or persons, to all appearances, being clownish, ignorant or stupid.

They doin some bufoolery at my job cuz I didn’t get paid today!
