Gabriel Halliday (born April 11, 1988), better known by his stage name Slim Burna is a Nigerian rapper, dancehall artist and record producer from Bonny, Rivers state, Nigeria in West Africa. Gabriel was born in Essex, UK. He returned to Nigeria with his family when he was just two years old. He grew up in different districts in Port-Harcourt city, Trans Amadi and Orazi but has been living in D/Line for over 17years.
During his early years in the music industry, Gabriel’s childhood friends gave him the name "Slim Burna" meaning "the slim bone that burns". His previous releases include “Whatz ur name”, “Is 4 u”, “I like to move it”, “Kpasima” and “Highness Madness”.
Slim Burna rose to fame in 2009 he released a re-make of “Oyoyo” (a track originally recorded by Jay Martins) which was featured in several mixtapes put together by Naija DJs Coalition.
The single became an instant hit. "Oyoyo" is a childhood slang in Nigeria used when the child's mum has returned home (mummy oyoyo).

James is responsible for converting many teenage girls from being fans of S Club 7 and Westlife etc and expanding their musical tastes :D He started Busted with Matt Willis in 2002 and then Charlie Simpson joined the band until they split up in Jan 2005. Then he created Son of Dork who are now on a break as all their members are busy doing different things. Then people discovered that James was off in New York doing American stuff like seeing the Hollywood sign etc. James is currently in New York in America making a solo album which will be released soon and will be electric. He is also writing a musical apparently called Loserville: The musical (after the S.O.D album).
