As of December 17, 2016 it appears that President-elect Donald Trump may not receive the required votes from the Electoral College on Monday, December 19. That moment will be unprecedented and he will be "unpresidented". Fore-shadowing this event, President-elect Trump misspelled the word "unprecedented" in a tweet December 16, 2016.

A U.S. President-elect is "unpresidented" when the members of the Electoral College previously pledged to vote for the President-elect vote instead for another candidate.
