The price you pay for separating your self from another person's self by identifying who you are. Similar to punctuation which separates verbs, nouns or adjectives from each other in grammar. Or the day from the month and the year of the date today or in history or the planned future.

Some colleges allow you to wait till later to pay for your courses; perhaps this could be a standard "round-tuition" policy for alumni who did well in class.
