To poke your nose into something or to be nosey. Shortened version of "trunky want a bun?" - where trunky is an elephant sniffing out a bun from someones pocket. Both noun and verb.

*Noticing someone peering out the living room curtains "What are you trunkying at??"
*Noticing someone trying to listen into someone elses converstion "You're such a trunky"
