Stupidcasm is the pretending of one's own ignorance to "shut-down" a know-it-all friend, who is trying to correct your false stupidity. There are different shades of stupidcasm to better fool the victim...

("I Wanna Hold Your Hand" is playing on the radio in the car)

Dude 1: "Man, I love the Kinks"

Dude 2: "Actually, dude, the song playing on the radio is none other than "I Wanna Hold Your Hand" by the Beatles." drifts off into an intellectual rant with a glazed look in his eyes..."this song is from 1963, and is one of the two songs the Beatles sung in a language other than English..."

Dude 1: Interrupts "I was just messing with you, man. Of Course i know who sings this. Dork."

Dude 2: "I hate you and your stupid stupidcasm."

A collection of individuals or groups, which may include but is not necessarily limited to progressives, lean forward type Democrats, Communists, Socialists, anarchists, intellectuals, professors, liberal pundits, media editors, race hucksters, race baiters, neighborhood activists, narcissistic and clueless politicians, actors, entertainers and assorted others, including the lawyer class which thrives on ever increasing regulation, as well as labor leaders and your garden variety of block-headed buffoons who just know more than you do. These individuals and groups promote sophomoric and offensive or socially toxic ideas or thoughts void of reason or any logically derived origin, arrived at without the benefit of scientific research, much less a minimal amount of clear minded forethought.
