Attention Starved

people that most likely didn’t get much attention as an child, so now that they’re older they’re willing to do anything to grasp someone’s attention. (whether it’s using manipulation tactics or emotional abuse)

Lisa said to her therapist, “I just need to be seen 24/7. I need someone to notice me, I hate being in a room full of people and the spotlight isn’t on me.”
The therapist sighed, “Lisa, you’re attention starved.”

Mother Fucker Im Starved

Expressing how hungry you are to another person. Even though you are technically calling the person you are expressing youre hungry too a mother Fucker, youre not really insulting them.
Normally said in a voice not your own, jokingly, to show that youre not really calling the other person a mother fucker.
Me: Motha Fucka Im starved
other Gy: Dude, I know right.

Me: Mother Fucker Im starved.
Other Guy: Dude, I know right.

An ill-advised and single-mindedly pursued strategy, which inevitably or predictably brings about failure of the strategist's project.

The US stragedy of favoring the Shiite factions merely led to intensification of Civil War in Iraq and ultimately to the formation of a Shiite Islamic Superstate in the region.

It might be argued the attempt to import Western-style democracy to a very different and dynamic culture without first understanding the culture's historical development or its religious and philosphical underpinnings constitutes the fundamental US stragedy for Iraq.
