Opinion Sponge

A person who soaks in the opinions of others when they are in their company. They adapt to these opinions very quickly and, like a sponge, emit the same content they have soaked in when questioned (or rinsed).

When in the company of vegetarians: ikr I NEVER eat meat. think of the poor animals!

When in company of normal people (meat eaters) : Urgh I'm so fat because I eat so many Big Macs, i just can't get enough of them

Everyone else: She is such an opinion sponge!

One who claims to maintain or support a computer system but in all actuality only has opinions on how it should be done and may in fact have no hands-on experience to back up said advice.

The chief system opinionstrator criticized how the system administrators actually handled the upgrade, nevermind he had never done an upgrade himself.

Re-opening Anxiety

The anxiety of post COVID-19 opening of everything without social distancing or sanitary precautions.
Also know as re-entry anxiety.

The thought of going back to our old filthy, pre-COVID-19 habits is giving me re-opening anxiety. Puleeeaaasseee let's at least not go back to the unsanitary, nasty habit of shaking hands!

Person 1: I believe in X, that's my opinion
Person 2: Y is better, I'll hurt you if u don't believe in Y
Person 3: STFU bitches, Z is better

Fridge Opening Syndrome

When you repeatedly find yourself opening and staring blankly into your fridge at regular intervals without cause. It's a prime indicator of needing to either re-evaluate your purpose of existence, or go get some more groceries.

Mike: "Hey, you wanna go play Smash Bros?"
John: *opens and stares into his fridge*
Mike: "...bro you really gotta fix that fridge opening syndrome and find a hobby."
