Mbare

Mbare, is a word in Sicilian dialect, which is used in Sicily, particularly in the city of Catania.

Mbare is a very well known term, which is used in a totally amicable context in some cases.

It is as if you were saying "bro" "friend", which is why it is mainly used by males, but girls are no exception.

But mbare, sometimes it is used when you do not remember the name of the person in front of you and you solve everything by saying mbare.

"Hi mbare, how are you?"

"Mbare we go to central park?"

"Mbare you broke my balls"
