Famous Mortimer is the fictional director of several shows, music videos, and films (including "Coupon: The Movie") appearing throughout Mr. Show sketches. He appears only once, as a background character. In his one appearance, he was played by comedian Patton Oswalt.

One of the best people I know. Some times quite obsessive about certain bands. One of the best nicknames for the name Martha, can also be rhymed with Martii the Smartii/Smartie
