Describes something that is so fat or unhealthy that it is catastrophic to your health or well-being. This can include thoughts or actions.

Example 1.) I want a cupcake but eating one would be so fatastrophic.
Example 2.) Did you see Jimmy at lunch? He ate a whole large pizza all by himself, that is so fatastrophic!!

In the gun world a catastrophic malfunction is characterized as a gun malfunction where it's destroyed/severely damaged usually from it exploding. Malfunctions like these easily can cause injury or even death to the user.

A catastrophic malfunction is not good considering a bunch of metal can be flying in your face.
