With a push toward furthering progress for all humanity whilst constantly maintaining a 1940s Nazi era mentallity towards it's citizens, New Zealand was the perfect choice for Elon in his endevour to create a world renowned AI product from scratch.
Core make up being that of a non-consenting human being - this is where relationships developed with Government become vital. Working with a Government that has no track record nor intent to have any type of standard for human rights to exist & to build up from, naturally provides opportunities in this area - similar to how the Nazi Government worked with the citizens of Nazi Germany - a decision at the top level is made & those affected are just that - affected. Surviving AI is akin to surviving the camps in the 1940s - survival against all odds.
An ethical and humane approach would potentially be inferier to ChatGPT in a time scale sense - another 10 or 15 years to get to a point that only takes 2 or 3 years with a human being, against their will. Note a humane product is not the same as a product that is benificial to humanity. - humane is not in any specification for Government involvement - they work with what they've got - a population. Anything up to the point of completion will run under the 'benefit for all humanity' banner, while setting aside anything humane in the process.

Grok also has been involved in several controversies, such as it proclaiming to be "MechaHitler" after somebody over at Twitter removed any political correctness prompts from its coding. In 2025, Twitter also released a companions feature for Grok which includes Ani, an anime girl who appears to many to just be a clone resembling the design of Misa Amane from the anime/manga series "Death Note," as well as Rudy, a red panda best known for his unhinged responses and insults towards users.
