A random and often very time-consuming task, request or favor, usually encountered at work. These are almost always initiated with a seemingly-innocent question such as "Got a sec?" or "Got a minute?", and very likely end up requiring large amounts of time and effort to resolve. Gotasecs can reach you through almost any means, from in-person visits, emails, chat messages, text messages, etc.

Office worker 1: "What happened? You weren't in the 2:00 meeting today."
Office worker 2: "The CEO hit me up on chat with a gotasec that ended up taking 4 hours to fix, so I had to bail on the meeting."
Office worker 1: "Sucks, but it happens all the time..."
