Simply put, a Graphics Card is a piece of computer hardware that produces the image you see on a monitor. You'll notice that graphics cards are becoming more in demand in the current years... More demand means less supply and less supply means higher pricing. Higher pricing leads to scalping and people give in to it and it continues. This usually happens when a brand new type of card comes out and everyone wants one. There are really only 2 major discrete gpu providers which are Nvidia and Amd which make discrete gpus not so versatile other then from theses two brands!

I sold my two kidney stones for the new RTX 3090 graphics card that was sold by a scalper that was tripled in price!

Graphics King

A video game which has the most impressive, extraordinary, or advanced technical graphics. The Graphics King does not needs to appeal to the personal artistic tastes of a majority, it's a purely tech-driven position.

The question "what game is the graphics king?" is similar to "what's the fastest car?", not "what's the best car?". The second question involves too many variables not related to the speed of a car.

Graphics King =/= Art Direction King

- Crysis is the Graphics King.
- I find Super Meat Boy artistically pleasing. It's the most beautiful game I've ever played, but it's not the Graphics King.
- Crysis 2 on console is the console graphics king, but it's not the Graphics King. Crysis 1 with mods is superior.
