A term referring to well-off space tourists like Jeff Bezos and Sir Richard Branson. Someone who travelled to space not because of their qualifications, but because of their wealth.

The term is a reference to space terminology for astronauts (spacefarers from US & Europe), cosmonauts (spacefarers from Russia and the former Soviet Union) and taikonauts (spacefarers from China) as well as the term "fortune", meaning wealth.
Jeff Bezos is not an astronaut, he's a fortunaut.
