Educational House

Educational house (edu house for short) is a genre of house music created by DJ Kronotrope. This is essentially house music that doubles up as an educational tool by imparting valuable knowledge to specialist groups and/or the general public through song.

Songs have been used as a medium for imparting knowledge for centuries. Though inferior in many respects to more traditional forms of learning, they remain especially potent for delivering small pieces of important information – especially the kind that needs to be memorised. This is because most songs contain loops. Usually, melodies constitute such loops; but for many songs with vocals, even lyrics loop. Looped lyrics assail the listener's mind and 'drill the information into one's head', so to speak.

Edu house songs can belong to any subgenre of house music, but must satisfy the conditions listed below:

1. The song qualifies as house music (this includes of all accepted subgenres such as progressive, electro, deep, and tech)
2. The knowledge imparted is valuable
3. The knowledge is 100% factually correct based on authoritative sources such as recognised academic journals
4. The knowledge imparted is not revisable within the foreseeable future
5. The song features no adult content (e.g. songs about sex and drugs cannot qualify as edu house).

COVID Education

A COVID education is an education many students received during the COVID-19 pandemic. The COVID education is an incomplete and faulty education due to cheating and not being focused during classes. People who have received a COVID education are slower to comprehend subjects that they should have learned when they were in school.

Person 1: Man, that guy is dumb as hell!

Person 2: Go easy on him man, he has a COVID education.

A state of affairs where a recent college graduate comes to the realization that the job that he expected would pay for the school loans for his overpriced education does not, and possibly will not, exist. The academic equivalent of the guy who took a 400K mortgage for a one bedroom condo where you can see the water if you stick your head far enough out the bathroom window.

abstinence only education

One of the few kinds of education that actually supports withholding knowledge. Abstinence only education is a form of Sex Ed where people are only informed about the single fact that abstinence is the only completely effective form of birth control.

Abstinence only education is like taking driver's ed and having them tell you not to drive.

Saullian education

N. A type of teaching style, usually instituted in high schools, rarely in colleges. The Saullian educator tends to try to become "friends" with the students, only to renege on this whenever something actually important emerges, such as any minor late assignment. The Saullian educator also rarely knows what he or she is talking about and uses neo-liberal bullshit that sounds profound when it is really just a plethora of nihilistic jibber-jabber. Only few are fooled by this facade. Classes usually stress "Socratic dialog" which is decried by the teacher as "off-topic" right before any sort of meaning can actually be discovered. Student's opinions are usually rebuffed as immature, except when the teacher actually uses student work as a teaching aid, because he or she didn't give a fuck to actually learn the material. Saullian teachers also enjoy screwing students over, especially at critical times when it would be the least helpful.

A naive shit like you would probably think that, but in reality, he's a fan of Saullian education.
