Clendinen

An amazingly lazy yet awesome guy that is a well mannered gentleman. Is good at listening, focusing on your problems, and gives good advice. He is a great and trustworthy friend. Clendinen is always willing to help you in anyway.

To copy small portions of previous work with minimal changes, without quotations or attribution. Whether an action is considered plagiarizing or claudinegaying depends on the context.

I claudinegayed the paragraph on the causes of world war 1 from the textbook, but my prof said it was plagiarism and gave me a zero on the assignment.

Claudinegay

Claudinegaying, named after former Harvard president Claudine Gay, is defined as copying text from another source, typically without attribution. The text will typically not be critical to the main point the author is trying to express, and hence the author will argue that this does not rise to the level of plagiarism.

Whether something would be considered claudinegaying or plagiarism depends on the context.

I claudinegayed the definition of the normal distribution from our textbook, but the prof thought it was plagiarism and gave me a zero on the assignment.
